The course provides students with tools and analytical frameworks to manage and evaluate financial decisions in real business contexts. Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Understand and interpret financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
- Analyze cash flows and assess the financial health of a company
- Measure and manage Net Working Capital and the cash conversion cycle
- Build financial budgets and forecast liquidity needs under uncertainty
- Evaluate financing alternatives and understand the cost of capital
- Recognize the financial impact of ESG criteria and sustainability goals
- Examine the evolution of financial needs across a company’s lifecycle
