Dear all,
Following up with yesterday's message relating to this course's code of conduct on the syllabus, I have explicitly emphasized in the beginning of today's session once again that I will officially refuse to assess the students who violate the above fundamental rule with surfing the Internet & sending/checking texts via whatsapp etc. in class.
In other words, those students will receive no overall mark at the end because of their continued unethical & irresponsible behaviors. Should you find such students, please warn them as a matter of courtesy on my behalf or inform me of them in person.
I am afraid this is like teaching a fish to swim, but I am just writing this once again because everybody should be on the same page & is expected to act with integrity in a spirit of professionalism.
