Re: Group presentation (25%)
I hope that this email finds you well.
Today I just wanted to officially inform you that your group presentation is like a team sports.
If the group leader does not lead, manage, organize, & control the team professionally & with high integrity, it implies that he/she is completely failing his/her entire role of formulating & executing the group presentation task. Likewise, if the members of the group behave opportunistically & irresponsibly & act like free-riders, they do not deserve to be in the same group. In other words, if any of these cases apply to you, I will definitely never grade your individual performance even if you give a group presentation, which means 0 points. Of course, the aforementioned warning has nothing to do for 90% of the students in my course at all. Please carefully review the syllabus as well as the presentation on the first day of the course once again. You will be able to have a crystal-clearer understanding of what I really expect from you. My way of thinking is “no commitment equals no results”.
Having said, this message is irrelevant for many of you. Therefore, please feel free to ignore it & keep demanding the best from yourself.
