Dear All,

I'm very glad to announce you the winners of the group contest for the highest number of visualizations and followers on TikTok.

The winners are the students of group #4, that is made up by the German channel and the Dutch channel. Congratulations!!!

They were brave enough to choose to publish more than 4 posts per day, even if they knew that the algorithm'd penalize them. Indeed, their average number of views per post is lower than that of the other groups, but the sheer number of posts they published was enough to compensate: overall, they achieved the highest number of visualizations (see columns AB-AF of our google sheet).

As promised, the students of these two channels will receive a bonus of 10 points at the written exam.

Unfortunately, this posting strategy won't work very well in the next course, as everyone of you will become the admin of a separate TikTok channel. But in this simple way you should be able to reach 50 million visualizations per year.

An honorable mention goes to the French channel, the one with the highest number of views per video. Congrats!

Finally, below you can see the last steps to take for each channel to be admitted to the exam:

  • Arabic channel: please remove the three pinned posts (users want to see new videos every day, not the old ones)
  • Spanish channel: in some videos the words appear letter by letter in random order. In this way, the users cannot read the full sentence until the end and this might cause problems to non-english speakers. Please also modify your Canva/CatCut template so that in future the words will appear in order. You should also insert in our google sheet the link to your templates (column P).
  • Kazakh channel: you should post twice per day.
  • Russian channel: you should post 4 times per day.
  • Ukranian channel: please increase the number of hashtags from 5 to 10 (you should be able to do so if you post from your laptop instead than from your smartphone)
  • Hindi channel: please insert in column P the link to your Canva/CapCut template
  • Egyptian channel: please post once per day and remove the name of the author from the audio.
  • Both German and Dutch channel: please write in column O the link to your shared google drive with the .mp4 of the video you made (maybe it was cancelled by error) and in column P the link to your video template(s)
  • Bangla channel: you should post twice per day
  • Vietnamese channel: try to alternate your three templates
  • Persian channel: use 10+ hashtags by posting videos from laptop instead of mobile. You should also post all days.
  • Urdu channel: you should post once per day and use 10+ hashtags.

Overall, the channels you opened are simply amazing.

They are helping many people find truth and meaning, now that books are out of fashion..

As you know, we are in the middle of the biggest education transformation in human history. AI is not just changing education: it is completely revolutionizing it.

Universities are becoming places where students do networking, connect with other people, build communities, and find truth and meaning rather than learning new technical skills.

You could’t make your professor happier, or end this year in a better way sourire

Thank you all for your great work.

Stay hungry, stay foolish!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Nicola Cortesi

p.s: student *Elisa Enrica Sandri* should write me asap, as I was not able to contact her by any mean in the last months. She won't be able to attend the exam without first contacting me.
