Dear students,
the call for the fourth edition of the "Talent Improvement Program (TIP)" has been published. The Program is dedicated to students enrolled in a master's degree or the fourth or fifth year of the single-cycle degree, to fund activities carried out in collaboration with the research groups, researchers and professors of the University of Bergamo. Students enrolled in all master's and single-cycle degree courses at the University of Bergamo are eligible to participate in the call.
The program funds:
For the 2026/2027 academic year, 16 scholarships of the gross amount of € 2,000.00 each will be granted.
The selection will remain open until September 29, 2026 at 12.00 (noon) and can be consulted, together with the proposed projects and the doctoral courses available to the selected students, at the following link:

The program funds:
- Participation in the research activity of the Departments: upon selection by the student and with the support of a university tutor (the contact person for the research collaboration proposal) who will play an active mentoring role as well as support in the definition of the personalized path.
- Carrying out activities abroad and or in Italy: in agreement with the university tutor, the selected students will be offered the opportunity to carry out activities abroad by relying on the academic networks of the research groups involved for the development of joint research, or alternatively by favoring the participation in international conferences, during which to present the research outputs.
- Participation in specialized and "vision" seminars: selected students will be able to participate in seminars organized at Departmental and inter-departmental levels, in courses offered as part of the doctoral programs of the University of Bergamo and in the various laboratories of the Departments involved, also on different topics with respect to the student's background.
- Support in the realization of the thesis: the research output produced as part of the program can represent the basis for the development of the thesis.

si segnala che è stato pubblicato il bando per la quarta edizione del “Talent Improvement Program (TIP)”, dedicato agli studenti iscritti ad una laurea magistrale o al quarto e quinto anno della laurea a ciclo unico, per il finanziamento delle attività svolte in collaborazione con i gruppi di ricerca, i ricercatori e i professori dell’Ateneo. Sono ammessi a partecipare al bando gli studenti iscritti ai tutti i corsi di laurea magistrale e a ciclo unico dell'Ateneo.
Il programma finanzia:
Per l'anno accademico 2026/2027 verranno poste a concorso 16 borse dell’importo di € 2.000,00 lordi cadauna.
Il programma finanzia:
- La partecipazione all’attività di ricerca dei Dipartimenti: su selezione dello studente e con l’affiancamento di un tutor universitario (il referente della proposta di collaborazione alla ricerca) che svolgerà un ruolo di mentoring attivo nonché di supporto nella definizione personalizzata del percorso.
- Lo svolgimento di attività all’estero e/o in Italia: in accordo con il tutor universitario, agli studenti selezionati verrà offerta l’opportunità di svolgere delle attività all’estero e/o in Italia attingendo ai network accademici dei gruppi di ricerca coinvolti per lo sviluppo di ricerche congiunte, o in alternativa favorendo la partecipazione a conferenze internazionali, durante le quali presentare i propri output di ricerca.
- Partecipazione a seminari specialistici e di “visione”: gli studenti selezionati potranno partecipare ai seminari organizzati a livello di Dipartimento e interdipartimentale, ai corsi offerti nell’ambito dei dottorati dell’Università degli studi di Bergamo e ai laboratori vari dei Dipartimenti coinvolti, anche su tematiche differenti rispetto al background dello studente.
- Supporto nella realizzazione della tesi di laurea: l’output di ricerca prodotto nell’ambito dell’azione potrà rappresentare la base per lo sviluppo della tesi di laurea.
