How to cite and write a correct bibliography
Numerical styles
Numeric styles are called this way because each cited document is assigned a number. In-text citations report that number instead of footnotes or author-date notations. In the final bibliography documents are listed in numerical order.
These styles are used mainly in Science, Engineering and Medicine. The most used are Vancouver style (for Medicine and Life sciences) and IEEE style (for Engineering).
