Harvard style

Harvard style is very similar to Chicago A and is used mainly in Economics and Social sciences.

However, there's no official guide for Harvard style and there are many small differences in how this style is used in different universities or journals. If requested to use the Harvard style, be careful to ask for an approved guide.

If no oher indications are given, you can find a good online guide at Mendeley website: Harvard format citation guide.

There are also many online guides created by British and American universities. Due to its similarity with Chicago A, it is also possible to use the Chicago Manual of Style as a reference, unless your tutor provides different instructions. There is no official guide published by Harvard University, even though the style takes its name.
